Bud's note about John Caley

This note was written in addition to the information Bud provided on the original questionnaire sent to him by Tom Cox. It suggests some very interesting engineering was going on with the SAAB two-strokes back in the 60's.
"John Caley blew away all the northeast Quantum racers including Dr. Dick Thompson who raced for SAAB. When John had a "legal" Formula S Thompson lapped him at Bryar MP. John returned with a 940cc and lapped Thompson with his 940cc.
Caley built a 10,000 rpm 3 cyl 2 stroke engine! It dynoed (on Gaston Andrey's dyno) at about 140 hp."
